23 Jun 2008 - OIFC Player is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro!

Hi everyone.
To mark my 30th birthday (which is on 13th August), I wanted to do something different, challenging and unforgettable... so I have decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro!

At 19,366 feet, Mount Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania, is Africa's highest mountain and the highest free standing mountain in the world. I will have to walk through five different climate zones to reach the summit! It is going to be a big challenge, and will take 10 days to complete.

I have decided to raise money for two really worthwhile charities - Shooting Star Children's Hospice and Hounslow Animal Welfare. The charities will each receive 50% of your donation, and as I am paying for the expedition myself, all of your cash will go straight to them..... so please dig deep!  You can sponsor any amount from £1 upwards.
